We wish you a blessed and restful Sabbath!

Many of you have noticed water damage in the sanctuary due to a leaky roof, including near the elevator. The council has approved roof repairs to get us through until we can make determinations about a more major roofing project. This will help protect our woodwork, our electronic equipment in the balcony, and the organ this winter and spring.

We have a lot of entrances to our building, and they will soon all be numbered! This is being done at the request of emergency responders, but will also be a great help to guests, visitors, and even our own members as we communicate the logistics of events and activities.

After years of discussion, we have finally had the rekeying done on our exterior doors. This will feature the return of a number pad on the Parish Center door so that we can grant temporary access to the building without distributing large quantities of keys. The code will be changed regularly to maintain security. If you need access to the building, please call the office.

The long-awaited sprinkler system is now installed in both the north and south sides of the courtyard. Grass has also been hydroseeded, and we look forward to having a beautiful green space soon!

We want to give a big “Thank You” to Patrice Mitchell and everyone who has helped plant, water, weed, and donate money to help make our church building beautiful this summer. There is still a lot of work happening, but here a few pictures of the progress!
