Annual Meeting Information

The church council has scheduled the annual meeting of the congregation for Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 10:45 am in the sanctuary. The Zoom room will open at 10:30.

The meeting will be livestreamed for observers, but members who wish to vote will need to attend in person, or join over phone or computer via Zoom. Zoom training and practice sessions will be available by request so that members can safely and confidently join the meeting from home. Contact the church office to request assistance. Additional details, links and more information about the meeting will be shared as the date approaches.

Constitutional Update

One task the Church Council has taken on in 2020 has been working on updating the congregation’s Constitution and Bylaws. An updated Constitution is prepared to present to the congregation for adoption at our annual meeting on January 31, 2021. Please find below the current Constitution, the proposed Constitution and a note from Pastor Brandy about the main differences between the two. If you have questions, concerns or feedback, please consider submitting them prior to the annual meeting for the sake of efficiency.

2021 Budget Proposal

The budget document for the coming year will be made available as soon as possible following the January meetings of the finance committee and church committee (January 12). Check back here for the link.


Sanctuary Roofing Project

Bids are currently being collected to present to the congregation at our annual meeting. The aging shingled roof of the sanctuary building and the flat roof on the tunnel will need to be replaced soon.

Church Council

The Church Council has general oversight of the mission, life and activities of our congregation, including administrative, financial, and property matters. The group typically meets on the second Tuesday of each month, though that is subject to change. Meetings begin with the sharing of a meal and a time of devotion before moving to the mission and business of the congregation. These meetings are open to all members of the congregation.
